New to RSS?

"RSS (originally RDF Site Summary; later, two competing approaches emerged, which used the backronyms Rich Site Summary and Really Simple Syndication respectively) is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format." - Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS

In practical and relevant terms, it enables you to create your own news feed combining news from your favourite news publications and even news from companies that offer RSS feeds (most of the good ones do).

If you Google "RSS Reader", you'll find plenty of options. We'll touch on a few options:

Microsoft Outlook

You can add RSS Feeds to a 'sub-section' of your email which makes it easy and convenient to access, without filling up your email inbox. Microsoft Outlook does however only list each RSS feed individually where other platforms combine the feeds into one for easy reading.

Summarised how to, you copy the RSS link from the website you wish to follow, right click on RSS Subscriptions in your email and "Add a new RSS feed". Here is the link for Microsft Support explaining it in greater detail, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/subscribe-to-an-rss-feed-73c6e717-7815-4594-98e5-81fa369e951c?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us
